The locality in our territory most suited for the growth of the precious tuber is Savigno, but all over the mountains of the Samoggia and Reno Valleys it is possible to find the White Truffle, and in summer, the Black Truffle or Scorzone. On the first three weekends of November, Savigno hosts the traditional 'Sagra Nazionale del Tartufo Bianco Pregiato di Savigno e dei Colli Bolognesi' (National Festival of the Prized White Truffle of Savigno and the Bolognese Hills).
